Hi Everyone,

I am sitting here at the Executive Leadership Conference in Williamsburg, Virginia (USA), with Paul Adler, US Business Development Manager for the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), an Australian government organization. We are engaging in a quick live tour of GovLoop.

Paul facilitates collaboration and conversations between the US and Australian governments on a range of issues. His primary goal is to connect our two governments in order to help both government and industry achieve successful working relationships. For instance, this coming Thursday evening, Paul is leading a delegation of Australian elearning organizations who will be meeting with interested US government agencies to gain insight and share lessons learned about best practices down under. He has led similar delegations related to energy, emergency management, infrastructure, green building, health IT, intelligent transportation and much more.

If you would like to learn more, you can reach him over on GovLoop as we just signed him up live at the conference! By the way, you may also want check out the Government 2.0 Australia group on GovLoop.

Hi Andrew and fellow OZloopers

It is great to be talking about US : Australia collaboration. We have a lot to learn from each other. I think we face similar challenges - especially in relation to organisational culture.

I have also commented on your post over at Govloop.
