That is so very sad. People who behave in that manner are symptomatic of what is so very wrong. Some would say with 'the system'. I for one think it is far more precise and, dare I say it, the sign of a sick organisation. I certainly hope the victim does. I don't know. Some of the literature talks about harnessing intellectual capital, but how do you harness what you repress, let a alone fail to liberate. If I had to look at this in terms of political ideology fascism springs to mind. At a very personal level I find this sort of behavior repugnant.

One villain has just instructed one of the best communicators in their agency to desist from all further public activity. Sad. Hopefully the victim of our villain will find a better job. Not that it will be any skin off the nose of his boss. What would the boss care that the guy with the profile was doing a good job of promoting the organisation.
